Report Card Week A terrific way to catch up with our kids, a time to think deeply about that student and where they are going. A teacher always asks themselves , how well do i know that student. If the answer is not well, we seek to get to know them better next semester. Report Cards are valuable to the student and their families and the process is so valuable to us. We can always do better.  Thank Yous Thanks  so much to all of you who took in the PD last week. From chatting with you my thoughts were the sessions were valuable.  Thanks  to all who are organizing the Wing Ding in High Level this Tuesday. Winners of our "post what you learned while you were away for ten days are....""" Shane   Carmen Shaw Valyne  Erica  Kim Price The comments you made on what you learned were so insightful.  I am putting a brand new book in your mail box your you to enjoy!!! Thank you so much for commenting.  Calm Waters, ripply waters and big waves.  Parent teacher interviews gave us a short glimpse into our students's lives. We got some cues as to how to motivate our kids more. Cues came in the form of stories we didn't know about the family. We gave parents information about their kids they may not have known. We can see for some kids the waters are calm now and for some families they are taking big waves right now. Monday memo Sunday, October 27

Sundays are great days. Hope you are using yours well.  A smile that could melt a glacier. Hoping you noticed the smiles when Story theater presented and when Our Metis Aerobics Instructor  did her jiggy thing. The smiles were from kids we knew would like it,and then the sparkly smiles came from kids we would never guess we could impact in that way. Priceless.  Our next presenter is a storm chaser. I saw him about twenty times on TV last weekend. Their crew does a FORD F 150 commercial. Then we have no one booked for a while as not many people venture to our country in the deep of winter. Kids learn in different ways this week we saw that.  Thanks so much to you all. Seriously do you know how great you are???  We managed Friday really well.
