Winners of our "post what you learned while you were away for ten days are....""" Shane   Carmen Shaw Valyne  Erica  Kim Price The comments you made on what you learned were so insightful.  I am putting a brand new book in your mail box your you to enjoy!!! Thank you so much for commenting.  Calm Waters, ripply waters and big waves.  Parent teacher interviews gave us a short glimpse into our students's lives. We got some cues as to how to motivate our kids more. Cues came in the form of stories we didn't know about the family. We gave parents information about their kids they may not have known. We can see for some kids the waters are calm now and for some families they are taking big waves right now. Understanding where we each are makes all the difference in the world.  Thanks  fore the time you put into parent teacher interviews this week. Thanks to Shelly for contacting many parents. If teachers have not forwarded who attended parent

Hoping you choose to relax over the break. It is a healthy thing to do. We do love the frog, as he can only move forward never backward. Some of you went forward this week. Some went to Cuba, Some to Vegas, some to Phoenix, some to Jasper, some to Edmonton. Some chose the relaxed life. Good for all of you!!  Moving forward, we have so many great things happening in the months to come. All good things.  During convention I realized that there are so many things we do right as a school. We give kids what they need in order to learn. Breakfasts, lunches, a significant other to tell their secrets and stories to, swimsuits and towels, skates, jackets and mittens- whatever our kids need to survive we give it to them. But most importantly we give them someone to bond with so they are able to learn. Relationships, relationships, relationships are key. Are you a true relationship builder???? We are sending positive vibes to the family, its been a rough go we know and are with you, through this tough time. Can you feel our positive vibes Susan? *********** They are flowing to you and Kathryn.     So this morning I got the text from Shane that  Kim Price was in the hospital . And So is Sean! Talk about a weird way to get time together. Except Sean is in isolation, so Kim can't see him anyway. Do you see how that can bring a family to their knees? When I looked up from my phone there were three magpies puffed up sitting together in the sunshine, warming themselves. There it is, the inspiration for this Monday memo- Huddle Together Team. Together  with us the Price's and the Richard's can get through this time.  Whatever you can do to ease their struggle as a team or as individuals that would be great. I even cooked and am
