Monday Memo Notes Ah, sunshine on our shoulders makes us happy.  John Denver singing " Sunshine."  We are two weeks from a well deserved holiday. That's a lot of relaxation! use your time wisely.  Just when you think the multitude of things we do, don't count. A note written on a star bought on Friday said, " I wish life were easier." I walked passed the tree and that one Star wanted me to read it, luckily the little guys name was on the back so now my mission is to make that boy's life just a little easier each day.  Thanks so much Huge thanks go to our Social Committee who put together the nicest evening on Friday. Welcome December. Welcome back to many of our staff. You have been missed. You have tended to your family or your health and will continue to do so.  Hope you realize that when things go on in our families those are traumas. Often we are tending to the traumas of our students, this month it seems, its our turn to tend to our own traumas. The list is very long for our staff right now, so as we would kids, we wrap around each other and make sure you know school is a calm place, we care about you and wished we could take a pain away by snapping our fingers. Some of us will pray for you, some of us will have you in our thoughts often and some of us will  listen but all of us are here for you. Strength in numbers I say!  Thank yous to each and everyone of you!  Can't say enough  to the teams Including support staff who stood up for your partners this week.  they handled it like heroes-taking away others worries and giving of yourself. Sundays are great days. Hope you are using yours well.  A smile that could melt a glacier. Hoping you noticed the smiles when Story theater presented and when Our Metis Aerobics Instructor  did her jiggy thing. The smiles were from kids we knew would like it,and then the sparkly smiles came from kids we would never guess we could impact in that way. Priceless.  Our next presenter is a storm chaser. I saw him about twenty times on TV last weekend. Their crew does a FORD F 150 commercial. Then we have no one booked for a while as not many people venture to our country in the deep of winter. Kids learn in different ways this week we saw that.  Thanks so much to you all. Seriously do you know how great you are???  We managed Friday really well. It was our toughest day for lack of subs but we did it horay Huge thanks go out to our Erica who is the master of many jobs around here. Her Fun, calm and cool presence is loved by kids and appreciated by us all. Tha
