A quick Monday memo today. HLLS has visitors that will go o0ver the CRM model with us.  Staffing Bonnie is out Friday. Anne Monday- High Level morning- Blue Hills pm. Tuesday- PD day. I will be going to Zama to clean up and organize. depending on the roads. Wednesday- Rainbow Thursday- FNMI training In Fort Friday- High Level Instruction and Programming Accountability survey plus Our School survey-  This week is a great week for us to have students complete the accountability survey and our school survey. It takes a half hour to complete. Students will be directed to the accountability survey then when that is co0mpleted there is a link to the Our school survey. Accountability data goes to the government and the Our School data comes to us. We need as many students as possible to complete this survey. When completed they receive two success bucks. It made it official, that Zama is no longer his home. I won't see him when I go there. He has a new group of 7,8,9 students who will just love him.  Zama has a community consultation for the closure of the school on February 20th at 1:00. With no kids, they don't have much choice. It is a long process so we will be sure to move forward with grace with whatever decision is made by the board. Staffing Anne- These three Year Ed consultations are halfway done. So much of my schedule is still revolving around being in those communities. We've done High level, La Crete and Blue Hills. If we want to be included, we have to show up to these things.  Monday- High Level Tuesday- Fort Vermilion all day.- consultation Wednesday- High Level Thursday- Rainbow

Blue Monday Really???

See how this fellow reacts to the Blue Monday ideal, that this day is the most depressing one of the year, makes me want to hug someone.  We are officially half way through January and already noticing more daylight. It is a busy month time to reconnect with our students. I am busy tracking down a few.  Semester change is coming in the High Schools so we can expect some students to walk through our doors in a couple of weeks.   Enjoy your week, diplomas resume next week.  Staffing Mark has been reassigned to Blue Hills Community School. Those students are so fortunate to have him as their teacher. He will be living in a home across the street from the school. When the ice bridge is in he will be driving each day.  Zama is not closed, only the board can make that decision. Janet is still working each day, paying bills, organizing the school and fielding calls etc.. Anne Monday- in High Level- two meetings- all staff at HLPS at 3:30 Tuesday- La Crete and Fort- 1 me

This a picture of a little blob we call, "Jellybean." We named it "Jellybean," as it is always jumping or waving and is never still, like a jumping jellybean. Our Grandbaby will arrive on June 22nd.
