In closing....
A huge thank you to Eric who fed my diabetic husband snacks while he golfed with him in a tournament yesterday. I was away in GP and I always worry about the beverage to snacks ratio of Steve Roberts when he is golfing. I think Steve might even pack his own snacks now!! Thanks tons Eric.
In closing I'd like to say;
- What an awesome staff we have. I hear people compliment this staff all the time and rightfully so. We each bring a needed dimension to our schools, thank you so much for your piece. We make a really effective team.
- Think of our kids. Who do you need to touch base with? Do we need to set anyone up with a child circle worker who checks in on them? Is there a kid who needs my cell number 780 841 2934 in case they have troubles over the summer, I can lead them to the an agency who can assist. Summers are difficult for our kids, not difficult for us, but very tough to be without routine for our students. Zama kids especially miss the routines.
- Summer cleaning- please assist our custodians by clearing off desk tops, sorting through our junk and letting it go, putting notes on things you want cleaned. The summer cleaning is a huge top to bottom clean.
- When there is a moment please think of two months from now... what can we do today to be better prepared for next year. There are something we can do now.
- Say your thank yous- there have been people and organisations that have assisted our schools greatly over the year, please be sure to get a thank you out to those people.
- Let the creativity flow... when you are on the beach or golfing and you get a cool idea. Put it in your phone and bring it back to school with you in the fall. It's amazing how the creative juices flow when we are out of the daily stress of our jobs. Are there things we need to do differently?
- Find peace over your summer. Do what you can to full enjoy your free time. You truly deserve a break today ( as they say in McDonald's commercials). Plan for it to be a fabulous one. Don't come back wishing you had done something or had done somewhere.

We say good bye to our two custodians in High Level, Tristan Bouchard and Landon Noskieye. These guys have been our janitors for three years and are now graduates! We thank them for all they have done. They helped us tremendously through our move last year. They are on to bigger and better things Tristan is off to a business program at the U of C. Landon is staying out of school for a year. We are hiring a present staff member of another school to clean our school.
Priority funding- High Level has almost spent it's $5000. You won't see our green house till next spring but we do have it. No use setting it up at the end of the planting season. It's a great student job.
Great job with Diplomas everyone. We had some kids who really needed to write come in.
Thanks to Gail Stolz who supported or staff and students all year. She has cool ideas that work well in our schools. Have a great summer Gail.
Food- please be sure to get rid of any opened food. We do not want critters roaming our schools. Take it home do what you need to do to clean out those fridges and cupboards please.
