Vacations are to the mind what rainfall is to the earth!
So glad you are all rested and you have found yourself again. Hoping your journeys had you realizing that you are doing what you are supposed to be doing- that is impacting people every day.
- Huge congrats to you!
We have fantastic news on many fronts this week. It has people moving away from us but it also has people living their dreams which is soooo what we are all about!!!
Great news bulletin number one: Carmen Shaw is soon to be working for CFS. We are so proud she can use her sociology degree for good and help the families who really need a hand. Knowing CFS recognizes people who build relationships are the people you want working for you is paramount. She will be fabulous there and we are so excited for her!! Now for us that sucks - but we always manage to get the best people to come back into this building... Its uncanny but its true!! Congrats hugs to you my girl we are so happy for you!
Great news number two. Shelly will be moving not to Zama or to Grande Prairie but to California in September !! Seriously!!! She and Pete and our Eva and going to school there and will be heading out on missions adventures after that. It has all fallen into place for them and we couldn't be happier that god has lead them to this adventure- vacation- oh I mean calling! Now that sucks hugely for us. Cause I'm not sure there is another Shelly out there??? But we must think positively.... Na....... it makes me cry- so I will avoid that one altogether for a while!! Congrats to the family!!
Great news number three- Debbie's Jacey graduated from her courses in Abbotsford BC. She is now on to a mission in Brazil. This girl has visited 23 countries!! How cool is she!! Very cool, you must meet her!
Andrew and Tasha and Andrew N are out on Monday. Someone is in for them. There is no one in the library yet on Monday.
Natalia is out Thursday and Friday Sheena P is in for her.
Emily is in the library on Tuesday.
Thanks to you to the bottom of our artistic hearts!!!
Natalia thank you for enlightening us and having us go there.... We were released and we now know anything is possible. People's strengths lie in different places and freedom to create is a right all people must exercise.
Thank you to her cleaner uppers. Evelyn, Cheri and Carmen did so much throughout the week to assist Natalia. That last day clean up was difficult and your help made it achievable. Thanks so much!!!
We will feel the benefits of this residency for months to come.
Events/programming
Use your time wisely for the next two months. That's all we have less that two months. maximize all time that five minutes in the morning and that seven minutes at days end, practice multiplication facts.
We need to tighten up. Damage to our bathrooms is extensive. Track who goes to the bathroom and when. I thought your walk throughs would alleviate it but it hasn't. There is grafitti everywhere. Does the child go to the bathroom with a pencil or pen in hand? Do you know where your kids are? It is happening in all bathrooms.
Student council meeting Tuesday.
Assembly periods 5 and 6 Friday. Dancers are coming maybe????
Track and field is on Monday 22nd. Science in Motion needs to know what you want to do for each grade I sent out that email.
