Bad Weather Always Looks Worse Through A Window
Bad Weather Always Looks Worse Through a Window- that is the quote I am reading on my calendar. Today that is not the case, it is treacherous out there if you are walking anywhere. Please be careful, our goal is to get to Christmas without any bumps, slips or falls.
( sounds like a seniors message but it is for everyone!)
This is the time of year, I remind you that not everyone loves the holidays like we might. For many of our kids, it is a time they have to spend at home and they would rather be at school. They have little to look forward to over Christmas, they would rather sleep through this season and wake up in January. Well to do families have break downs over Christmas as well. We need to be cognizant of these feelings when we ask what are your plans for Christmas? Will you be spending Christmas with your family? Just be aware that all our conversations do not have to center around the holiday.
Thank you to those who have made your schools look festive. That is really appreciated by all!! Can't wait for you all to see Eric's collection of musical Christmas spirit animals!!

Diploma Exams are starting on Januray 11th. We need to get those sittings organized now. Identifying digital writers and filling out the form Dexter requires us to fill out happens this week. I pick up the exams tomorrow. Be sure to contact your diploma writers and make sure they are aware of the dates and times.
PAT exams we have a few students writing in January. Exams are in. Just need to determine dates.
Zama City students are putting on a dinner for the community today. Kids are doing it all themselves. So cool!
Staff meeting Friday at 11:00, no schools will be closed, we hired a sub in La Crete. Rainbows hours are such that we are closing because 22 hours has been reached for that week. This is a paid day for those who would not normally work. Looking forward to a quick staff meeting and a lovely lunch.
IPP's must be signed this week. Give parents a call, Kathryn canceled her meeting this Monday and is coming next Tuesday.
Wednesday, High Level students are wrapping toys for the Christmas baskets.
This week Fort Students are putting together a basket for a local family.
Budget reports are due. We are at 33% spent in Zama and Learning Stores we should be 30% spent. We are doing fine as many of our purchases happen in our first three months.
