Thank You For Being You
Seriously, I want to thank you for hanging in there. The long days of winter are here. There is an energy differential between us and the kids. You have so much on your own "to do" lists. I want to thank you for having grace and continuing to be positive influencers in our schools. I recognize it is not always easy, but you make it look easy, that is because you are excellent at what you do!
Thank you
Huge thank you to Bonnie for ordering a fabulous birthday cake for just a few of us to enjoy. ( It was so good) Stupid rain! Thanks to Bonnie as well for ordering the fabulous Christmas gifts you will all soon receive. She's got fabulous taste and we all benefit from that!
Thanks to you all for the most lovely, big, black bag I unwrapped on Friday. I must have whined numerous time about my previous bag being stolen out of my vehicle. I almost cried when I opened the box. What a meaningful gift... Thank you so very, very, very ,much! I promise to lock my car doors every night!
Thanks to all of you for organizing Christmas celebrations in your schools. It means so much to our students. Great for us to just have fun with them. I had the honor of attending Blue Hills, Rainbow and almost Zama's. This week we celebrate with High Level Students, La Crete Students, and Fort Vermilion Students.

Instruction and Programming
The three students in Zama are leaving to go back to NFLD,sadly, grandma's cancer has returned. The three students leave on January 9th. We are staying calm, as things always work out in Zama. In January, we will have a meeting to decide what the future holds for that school. Who knows.. perhaps a family of ten will move in... The school is not closing.....................................yet.
Diploma exams take place the week we get back. I did send a Supervision document to teachers to fill out. By this time we have let the tech team know who is writing digitally.
Health care aide applications are due on Wednesday. No lates will be accepted.
Our staff Christmas gathering will be rescheduled. ( stupid rain) Will let you know after diplomas. I do owe a gift card to one person I will draw that today. This is for the person who responded to the blog two weeks ago.
Enjoy your holiday. Enjoy your freedom, calm and lack of scheduled activities!! I will see you back here on January 8th. Soak up that family time.
I already had my first family gathering yesterday; 9 siblings and spouses. Such a small gathering compared to what it used to be. Christmas will be for my kids, grandkids and friends. And relaxing!
ReplyDeleteI'm heading back to NB for a few days to visit with family and friends. Should be nice and relaxing!
