La Crete's CRM had us celebrating many kids; kids we thought might never graduate are graduating, Kids are calling us and surprising us, kids are getting tons done.

Explanation Needed, Forsure!!!!

I will be retiring , then taking the .6 Principalship that was offered to me. This gives me the freedom to be a good grandma, wife and volunteer in the community, plus keeps our schools running like they should. It is a flexible schedule ie: Works September has a week off beginning of October, that kind of thing. A vice Principal will be assigned from our staff to fill in while I am out. It is creative, I know! However,  any one who works part time knows, you never work part-time, it always adds up to more than part time. That's just the way it is, so a pretty good deal for the division I say, and hopefully a good decision for me. Hmmmmmmmm. Had to be brave to make this decision, covid helped me focus on what's important. Thanks covid!

In regards to Annelise, budgets just would not allow us to continue with two part timers that position was cut to .5. Linda is high school math and Science trained. Annelise is weighing her options. They have presented options as they know she is a rockstar teacher! Kids love learning from Annelise. 

Where does Chad fit into all of this. Sadly, Chad becomes his own boss next year. Sad for us, not for Chad. He will be principal of the Home Education Center. Thoughts are, numbers will rise for homeschooling over the next little while. Our government is making that happen, through support of private and home schooling.  

There you go, our staffing for next year. Now to get the right people in those positions.

* Leah and Kayleen's last days will be Thursday. Girls we thank you for all you have done for the kids and for us. You are beyond wonderful and we will be lonely without you. You will definitely be having more fun than we will. It is tough in our new reality. I like the old reality way better. Enjoy your summer.

• Many Thanks to Alex for helping us to get these courses on Goggle classroom. An additional thank you for continuing to work on the course updates. 
• Huge thank you to all of you for the work you did on report cards. It truly is a group effort. Students will enjoy the update.
• A huge celebration for all of us as many kids were exempted form their April diplomas. We worried about our challengers but they did receive their exemptions too. Yippee!!! Thanks to Bonnie and Eva for setting up the sittings and making sure no one was missed. 
• Three winners of the response to the Monday Blog are: Leah, Linda and Alex. Congrats to you three. A gift card will be presented to you. Alex and Linda please ask Eva for your card ( hoping she has a few on hand, if not let me know). Leah you can choose the card you wish. 
• Thanks to Dean for looking after those students in Fort so well. The Fort learning Store will close tomorrow for three days. We need to keep Dean safe and dry. He can swim but that is pretty chunky water. 
• Many thanks to each of you for keeping calm and cool. We have fires, floods and a pandemic, yet, you are calm and cool and know that this just can not last. Trees and flowers will bloom, music will carry us through and your strong disposition will see us get through the year in with approx 38 school days left.
