They want to be free to 

be themselves and be

accepted for who they

are.

 

Isn't this true! Even the quietest students are yearning for connection. in Outreach we connect with these kids. A student told me a story of not having one friend because she is thought of as weird. Her best friend left her saying she was her friend because she pitied her. This girl needs connection, confidence and wants to be valued. She can tell her story, how many stories are out there?

Connecting with families last week helps us understand stories. Thank you for your persistence with calls and making contacts. I learnned many things in speaking with families. One girl has sprained her wrist, we had no idea. One boy was going to quit school. Another girl just stopped doing anything, her family was worried. Thanks you for connecting  with families. Parents want to hear from you, well most....

Thank you for getting the student's work marked within the one week window. 

Thank you for the extras you put in over and beyond. We notice! You might not think we do but we sure do!!! Our staff is filled with Superstars. Perfect for Outreach. 

Thank you for keeping up the integrity of Outreach. We are constantly having to justify who we are and the impact we have on students. We celebrate the huge numbers of kids who would not have graduated with out you! 

Thank you for the work you are doing in building courses. When we look our set up we are going to be fine without ADLC. We are adjusting the materials to be the best we can offer. 

Staffing

As far as Atrieve says, everyone is in this week. 

Chad and I are in LTM on Wednesday morning. 

A reminder that if you are going to be out of the building, Chad and I need to know. It is embraassing for us and you, when we are looking for you and you have gone to an appointment we didn't know about. We would do anything for you, all we ask is that you tell us when those appointments are, or when that change in schedule happens. 

Student Wellness

Please note that the refferal form for counselling services is available on line. Now more than ever students might need a session or two with some one objective to sort out their feelings. in High Level there is another Mental Health counselor working to give more access to our students. 

Staff please know that you have services available to you. There are many of you taking in the grieving sessions, we are thrilled when you seek out information!! 

Dates to Remember

• March 9th at 2:30 we meet with Mike. Unsure of the form this meeting will take. Mike is meeting with every school over the next two weeks. 
• March 5th La Crete has a Wellness Session for students.
• March 9th High Level introduces the course: Marketing and Management- Promotion: Sales Techniques. We will let you know how that goes, Leah worked on this course and it's presentation. 
• Year leave of absence last date to apply is March 30th. 
• March 2nd Chad and I are looking at our ED Plan and goals. Soon we will be looking for your input. Covid will be less of a driver in this new Ed Plan. 
• Anniversary of the beginning of quarentining is mid March. We are just about through a whole winter of covid and it's restrictions, constrictions and interruptions. Mike sent out a video which outlines the fact our bodies can react to anniversaries such as this one. 
• Security Training needs to be done soon. An email was forwarded, it's an excellent short little course. Do not email me asking for $100,000 to be forwarded to a mystery account, I will ignore you. 
• LTM Wednesday.
• Quad three ends on April 16th. Report cards are due in April 19th, they go home April 23rd. These are the correct dates. 
• PD I can not keep up with it all. There are many opportunities for you.
