First Blog of 2016

Cheers to you all!

" I wish the holiday would be over and school would start back up again on Monday," stated a student  after delivering Christmas  baskets to several families. The truth is that the holidays are tough times for many. We have always been excellent at listening to our students. This year will be no exception. The students need to be heard. Thank you for listening to their holiday stories.

Hoping you took the time to listen to yourself and get the sleep you needed, the calm you needed and the outdoor time you needed too! It's been beautiful in the north this Christmas. Plenty of opportunities to get out there and breath the clean northern air! but certainly it is time for us to get back into routines. People, animals, nature survive on routines!

Welcome Back

In High Level, we welcome back Gayle, our student wellness coordinator, who has managed significant health issues over the past year and a half. I'm sure is ready to be back helping our kids. She is our Wonder Woman and has handled every struggle with grace!!Welcome back Gayle you've been missed.

Welcome on board to Nicole Muzichuk. She is our Educational assistant in Zama. She is a go getter and will be able to get those kids up to the levels they need to be at. We are so happy to have you as part of the Zama Team.
